How to make a blog on Wordpress

and Blogger?

Blogging is always an attracting thing for people who love to share their experiences and views. Blogging has attract thousands, actually! millions all around the world. In-fact it has become a big source of people livelihood, Some are earning millions of dollars monthly.
I know the intro has attract many of you who are new to blogging and have pursuit them to a quest where they want to learn that how to make a BLOG? Well! this is more than easy, all you need is common sense.

To start a blog first you need to choose the criteria of your future blog, by criteria I mean that whether you want to start your blog as a free sub-domain or a purchased proper domain (for example: www.example.com). I will prefer proper domains because they have many features which sub-domain do not offer. So After deciding about the criteria of your blog you need choose a proper platform where you can start your blog. I personally recommend two platforms, one is Wordpress and second is Blogger. They are both different in terms of hosting, However both have same ambitions to provide perfect platform to a blogger to start his blog. After choosing one of them you need to start working on them. To know how read further:

Wait! before moving forward make two things clear in your mind:
No. 1: Creating a blog on wordpress is difficult than blogger but modifying and editing your blog is far more easy on wordpress. Plus+ Wordpress allows you custom themes, widgets, plugins and other webtools.
No 2: Creating a blog on blogger is far more easy than wordpress. However, editing and modifying it is so difficult because you directly have to go into HTMl codes which are very complicated. Web tools for blogger are limited.

1) Wordpress

Wordpress is the most common platform which is used by millions of blogger in the world for blogging, Even big news agencies use wordpress to maintain their websites. To select wordpress as your blog platform you must have a domain name which could be purchased from different domain selling websites such as godaddy.com, hostgator.com ,1and1.com and many others, I personally prefer Hostgator and Godaddy on all others, However if you have an unverified paypal account you may use namecheap.com to purchase your domain because they accept payments from unverified paypal accounts. After purchasing a Domain from any of these online domain sellers now you must have a hosting plan. A hosting plan is a platform which allows you to store data for your domain to be publish on your domain address. For example if you buy a domain and don't purchase a hosting plan for it then you will not be able to post your data on your domain until you get your hosting plan. A hosting plan may cost different. Both hostgator and godaddy offer different hosting plans with different costs. However, If you are looking for free hosting you must go to 1freehosting.com where you can use their free hosting plans. After selecting your hosting company create your account and copy their hosting address. For Example if you choose 1freehosting.com then go to Hosting tab and select Details then copy nameserver hosting details for example ns1.1freehosting.com and ns2.1freehosting.com.  Now open the website from which you have bought your domain ( for example godaddy) and paste your nameserver hosting details on your domain cpanel. Now go back to your hosting company and install wordpress on it. For example if you are using 1freehosting.com then go to Auto-Installer and select that big W which is wordpress ICON. Now install wordpress on your hosting system and select your username and copy your password, after that open a new tab and place your domain address there for example www.example.com after your domain address, Put /wp-admin, so it will look like this www.example.com/wp-admin. Now press enter and put your username and password on the field and press enter. Here you are!. A new page should open which should look like this IMAGE below.
Here you are! If this page appears after putting your username and password it means that you have done everything right. Now go to posts button and click on add new and post whatever you want :). If you want to Install custom slide bars and other custom modification to your blog you may go to plugins and search for the plugin you want. But first search on youtube or google about what you are searching for. Wordpress has far more superiority on blogger in terms of system availabilities, Wordpress allows you to install custom themes and widgets according to your demand. However, blogger has limited options for a blog holder. If you want to start your wordpress blogging carrier without investing money, you should go to wordpress.org and choose free sub-domain system.

2) Blogger

Blogger is far more easy platform to start your blog all you need is a google account then go to www.blogger.com and sign-up. After signing-up a new window should open like this:

Now go to new blog, select your blog title and sub-domain address which would be like this (www.example.blogspot.com). Now configure a proper template which may suit your blog structure. And that's all you have install your own blog on the system now just click on your blog and go to posts and post whatever you want. But as I said earlier in my post that managing your blog on blogger is far more difficult than wordpress, Wordpress gives you a proper tab which is called themes where you go and select add new and install custom themes on your blog according to your needs. But if you have choose blogger as your blogging platform you may find it hard to find quality themes which is called templates in blogger. Although, If you have some cash in your e-wallet you may buy some templates for your blogger blog. Widgets choices are also limited in blogger. And if you want to edit your templates you must direct go into HTML codings which are very complicated and can not be understand by a normal human being. If you want to transfer your current sub-domain (for example www.example.blogspot.com) then first buy a domain from a domain seller then open your blogger account and select the blog which you want to convert from sub-domain to proper domain (for example www.example.blogspot.com to www.example.com), then go to settings you will find a heading which should be "Publishing" which should look like this :
Below it, you will find your blog address. If you want to convert it into a proper blog click on "+ Set up a third-party URL for your blog" , then a new bar should appear which will ask you about your domain details simply put for domain address there. After that it will show two errors which should look like this:
These errors are actually Cnames for your domain. Just select the two cnames which should look like this.
NameLabel or Host fieldDestinationTarget or Points To field
wwwghs.google.com
aaaaaaaaaaagaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
The first label or cname is same for every blog but the second one is different. Now simply copy these cnames and go to your domain seller website and login to your account and select your domain and paste these cnames into your domain cpanel. That's all!

But If any of you ask me that which platform from both of these is more reliable and fruitful I will reply WORDPRESS! because it has multiple choices for users in every field.
